"C" refers to the tripping characteristic curve, which trips between 5 to 10 times the rated current (ideal for commercial and inductive loads). "63" represents the rated current capacity of 63 Amperes.
You should select an MCB based on the total load current of your circuit, the system voltage, the number of poles required, and the specific application environment (residential, commercial, or industrial).
Standard AC MCBs should not be used for DC applications unless specified by the manufacturer, as DC arcs are harder to extinguish than AC arcs. Always select designated DC circuit breakers for solar or DC systems.
